PDX Wedding Celebration: Let Them Eat Cupcakes

The cupcakes for our Portland wedding celebration was one of our favorite parts of the day. When we had our amazing tasting at Cupcake Jones, we knew there wasn't any other cupcakery that we wanted for our celebration at home. Their cupcakes are amazing, come in so many different flavors, are completely made from scratch and use as many local ingredients, as possible. Plus, they are all around super yummy! They will even deliver the cupcakes to your door and set them up for you, if needed. We opted to have our maid of honor, Nicki, set them up for us, but we're so grateful for the delivery. If you are in the Portland area and are wanting cupcakes for any event, you will want to get them from Cupcake Jones. There is no other cupcakery  that we would want to use and can't say enough good things about them.

Thanks to Nicki for setting this all up for us!
Gorgeous chalkboard signs done by Amanda.
Yes, she is available for hire to do them for you, too.

We ordered the cupcake wrappers and the cupcake hibiscus and plumeria flower toppers from Your Little Cupcake shop on Etsy. Chelsea was super easy to work with and had all kinds of fun idea of what to do for our cupcakes. I'd highly recommend working with her if you are needing cupcake toppers, wrappers, hang tags, favor boxes and so much more.

The cupcake toppers with our Portland celebration logo on them, I made myself. They were super easy and lots of fun to put together. If you are interested in making some yourself, check out my tutorial here. You can use them to put on other food items, as well.

I also made the K& D covered in shells, the cupcake stands and the framed cupcake sign. Tutorials for all of them will be coming soon. The felt chain garland we purchased from the Etsy shop Knock Knocking. I think they were the perfect touch to connect our two favorite cupcakes together.

Our two favorite cupcakes PB&J and Apple Pear.

Easy DIY frames were great for instructional signs.

For the cupcakes we went with four delicious flavors; PB&J, Apple Pear, Strawberry Lemonade and Red Velvet. We tried so many different flavors and it was very difficult to narrow it down to even four of them. In the end, we were happy with the flavors we selected because they had something for everyone and each offered a very unique taste.
