We already have a great after party planned following the wedding reception at
Old Lahaina Luau. But, what about the after the after party?
Drew and I have talked a lot about having an after the after party. We looked into going dancing at
Timba in Lahaina after the luau and a couple other options. Ultimately, we decided that if we were to plan something like that we would be taking a big gamble and might lose out on some money better spent on our weddingmoon.
With a morning wedding ceremony it means an early call time. An early call time means we will be getting ready at 6am. No, wait, everyone will be at our place to get hair and make-up done at 6am. We will have to be ready to go before that. Not being a morning person, I'm not really looking forward to this. I'm counting on my excitement of marrying the man of my dreams to get me up out of bed all bright eyed that morning. Cuz we all know how grumpy I can be when I first wake up.
We were worried that with getting up so early and having such a long day that we may be too exhausted to hit the town after the luau. Initially, we completely scratched our whole idea of an after the after party. Then one of my BFFs, sent me a
link to a blog post that got us thinking about it, again.
