After a long day at Disneyland, we needed to have a relaxing day that didn't require us to do much activity or even thinking for that matter. We packed up and headed to Huntington Beach. Along the way, we stopped at Sprinkles for a cupcake snack. We had lunch at a place with street side patio dining and then we headed down to the water.
The beach was beautiful, but there sure were a lot of interesting characters down there. We took a stroll along the water and then headed over to Bamboo Ben's workshop to pick up a few items for the home tiki bar. We were lucky enough to get two lamps and a great tiki mug display shelf.
We had a nice dinner at Don the Beachcomber where we once again celebrated Amanda's birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. We got to see some more of Bamboo Ben's work and all the changes that they've been working on while transforming the place into the first Don the Beachcomber to open on the mainland in 50 years.
So many cupcakes, so little time.
