PDX Wedding Celebration: Favors & Good Cheer

Even with a celebration after the wedding, it was important for us to have a little something to give to all of our guests that celebrated with us at home. It was also important to us to have that gift reflect our wedding in Hawaii. With that in mind, we brought back macadamia nut Kisses that you can only get in Hawaii and Honolulu Cookie Company's Hawaiian shortbread cookies for everyone.

Favors table for guests to grab a bag and fill with Hawaiian treats.

We got small muslin drawstring bags stamped with seahorses and our initials from flirtdeux on Etsy. We got a great deal on them when Heartsy was still around. Cheaper then if we had made them ourselves. It was nice to have a few things made for us.

Amanda made us all kinds of great chalkboard signs for the reception giving descriptions on drinks, cupcakes, the favors and our guestbook. We set up a table with a poster similar to our Portland wedding celebration invitations for everyone to sign, a book for guests to write words of aloha, love and good cheer inside and copies of some of our engagement photos for anyone who wanted them to take. We loved reading what everyone had to write after the celebrations were all over. We plan visiting them, again, each year around our anniversary.

All chalkboard signs done by Amanda. She should get a job doing this!

Table all set up for guests to sign poster and book.
