One Year Ago Today...
Drew officially proposed at Tiki Ti in West Hollywood after a fun filled week in Palm Springs last February 26th. We were at one of our favorite tiki bars, dressed in vintage Hawaiian clothing and having a great time when Mike, the owner and head bartender of Tiki Ti, told us we were like the last of the motikians, a dying breed of true tiki culture. Drew then reached into his pocket, pulled out a little box, opened it and asked, "Will you marry me? We can be the last of the motikians together." I of course said, "YES!" Inside the box was a beautiful vintage 1940s ring that he'd been carrying around for days waiting for the right time to ask. He said he couldn't think of a better time to ask then at one of our favorite places, having a great time. I couldn't agree more!

Congratulations on your one year engage-iversary!! My Fiance proposed on June 11, 2011 so almost 9 months ago! We are still in the newly engaged euphoria to this day. We are always calling each other fiance (our other pet names took a back seat lol!). I guess I would say that time has really gone by quickly and although it took us a while to set a wedding date (finally set it about a month ago) I am trying to brace myself for how fast that day will come!
It does go by quick! Enjoy every moment of it.
