Santaland

Santaland was originally a part of Meier & Frank and was closed when bought out by Macy’s. Luckily, after the Macy’s remodel, Santaland re-opened. There were many changes like the overhead kid-sized monorail was no longer in operation, but the holiday model railroad layout, busy elves, rambunctious reindeer in their stalls and Santa, himself, all returned. Two cars from the monorail do remain on the ground in the Monorail Memories tribute room to Meier & Frank and you are able to take pictures with them. If you are big or small, make sure you take a visit to Santaland. We promise it will make you smile and bring a flood of holiday childhood memories back to you.

After brunch at The Original with our friends, Joe and Dana, we walked over to Santaland.

Drew was really excited to write Santa a letter.

Of course, Joe had to write Santa a letter, too.

Nice letter, Drew.

Elves are busy making toys in Santaland.

All the reindeer waiting to go on their Christmas Eve ride.

Dana and Joe.

Maybe we should get a reindeer for our next pet...

It's Donder, not Donner.

Donder is Rudolph's right nose.

Holiday model railroad.

The monorail!

Going for a "ride".
