11th Annual 99 cent Gift Exchange Extravaganza

Our friends and neighbors, Marci and Austin throw a great white elephant gift exchange party every Christmas. Everyone brings a wrapped gift valued at a whooping 99 cents and places it under the tree for the big event later in the night. There is one exception to this rule however if the gift is thrifted and too good to pass up.

This is our second year attending and both years have been very different from each other. This year was much more low-key with less people, very little stealing of gifts and no one falling over face first into the middle of the living room while no one reacted. We also got pretty great gifts now proudly displayed on the back of our toilet.
